About the position

We are looking for someone who wants to join our team working with IT operations and further development of our IT infrastructure. The digitalization of the courts places higher demands on high availability, which is why we are expanding operational capacity and the ability to maintain secure IT operations. To manage a secure and stable operation, a high degree of automation is required for the setup of new systems and maintenance, which means you will be involved in developing efficient working methods.

Your tasks will include monitoring, incident & problem management of hardware and VM platforms, installation and maintenance of server and storage infrastructure. Monitoring of areas such as cybersecurity, HCI, and virtualization solutions is also part of the assignment. You will also work on projects together with colleagues from the IT department and from all Swedish Courts.

Who are we?

The IT department of the Swedish Courts Administration works with modern methods and technologies to meet the digitalization needs of the Swedish Courts. In total, we are over 100 colleagues in the department, working broadly in many different areas. We contribute with a holistic view, innovation, and customer focus. Our engagement lies in quick responsiveness, availability, and collaboration to achieve results.

The Swedish Courts Administration has an IT environment consisting of several standard systems and many custom-developed web applications, both internal and e-services. Our custom-developed web applications are primarily developed with open source. We manage all operations in-house with the associated infrastructure within Linux, Windows, networks, firewalls, and databases. We also handle a PC client environment, print, and mobile phones for over 7,000 users.

Together with your colleagues, you will realize the existing and future digitalization needs of the Swedish Courts. Everyone here works with continuous improvements and job satisfaction!

Who are we looking for?

You are a driven systems technician with a university degree in computer engineering, system science, or equivalent knowledge that the employer assesses as comparable. You have a strong interest in technology, IT security, and capacity services within server and storage.

Through previous jobs or education, you have gained experience with the following technologies, components, and methods:

  • Hypervisors such as VMware or other equivalent technologies
  • Container technology with Docker and Kubernetes for both Linux and Windows systems
  • Backup and restore
  • Infrastructure within servers and storage

It is desirable if you also have knowledge of hyper-converged infrastructure, object storage with associated management and monitoring. Experience with Microsoft environments on-prem and Azure and Azure Stack Hub is a plus.

There are 1 - 2 permanent positions to be filled, 100% working hours, and start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply.
