Business Analyst Wanted

We are looking for a business analyst who will be responsible for requirements work in feasibility studies and projects concerning some of the region's most important systems.

The assignments cover areas such as Regional Transport, Operations & Service, Regional Development (including Småland Music & Theatre and 4 schools), IT-Centre, Qulturum, Furturum, and E-archive. The program works with standard systems and has a strong focus on procurement and procurement requirements.

As a business analyst, you will work to capture relevant stakeholders and their needs, structure, analyze, and concretize these to create documentation for IT solutions. The assignment is initially at 100% but may be adjusted over time.

Responsibilities

As a business analyst, you will be part of a project group and be responsible for:

• Planning and leading workshops and interviews with the business and external actors for requirements gathering.
• Driving and concretizing the requirements work by detailing the business's requirements for solutions, which can form the basis for IT architecture.
• Taking responsibility for developing requirements specifications for the systems and system integration in collaboration with the project's IT architect.
• Ensuring that the requirements for the systems are based on the business's needs and that the solutions meet these in the best possible way.
• Proactively, in collaboration with the project's IT architect, suggesting possible solutions.
• Quality assuring that the developed requirements and solution proposals take into account management routines and other governing documents.
• Participating in the development of test documentation.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role, you should have:

• Documented experience in analysis work including identifying and documenting functional, qualitative, and legal requirements;
• Documented experience working with process mapping;
• Documented experience working as a business analyst in complex and large IT projects;
• Extensive experience in planning and conducting workshops;
• Extensive documented experience in formulating testable requirements and metrics;
• Documented experience in procurement requirements;
• Excellent ability to express oneself in speech and writing;
• Good habits and ability to document and report in a structured manner, both in text and models.

Start date: 2025-05-19

End date: 2026-05-18 (The assignment period is 12 months with the possibility of 4 options periods of 3 months each)

Scope of the assignment: 50-100% of a full-time position

Workplace: Opportunity for remote work 2 days a week (according to the client's guidelines), if the work allows.
