As a technical manager at SYSTRA, you will play a central role in our projects where you will have overall responsibility for the water and wastewater technical area. You will lead the technical progress within the projects, coordinate with other engineers, and manage communication with project management and assignment management. You will work on everything from preliminary design and conceptual design to detailed design in small and large infrastructure projects. Here you will have the opportunity to develop, share your knowledge, and also collaborate with international colleagues and participate in international assignments.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Responsible for the design within the water and wastewater technical area in the assignments.
• Responsible for the technical codes and quantities in technical descriptions and quantity lists.
• Responsible for producing system documents, tender documents, construction documents, and as-built documents.
• Responsible for ensuring that applicable regulations, processes, and technical-specific guidelines are established and communicated internally within the relevant technical area.
• Coordinating within the project in the specified technical area as well as with adjacent technical areas.
• Providing mentorship support for others in the team.
• Reviewer and expert support.
• Responsible for the technical area's budget and monitoring this within the framework of the assignment.

About you

You are probably currently working as a technical manager or experienced designer and have very good expertise in water and wastewater design. You have a strong interest in your technical area, are innovative, and constantly strive to develop. Your good communication and collaboration skills, along with your responsiveness to both colleagues' and clients' needs, enable you to effectively drive projects forward and ensure high quality in the work.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in water and wastewater design.
• Have an engineering degree or equivalent education or knowledge acquired in another way.
• Previously worked with the public sector.
• Experience in writing technical descriptions according to AMA.
• Very good knowledge of AutoCad Civil 3D.
• Good knowledge of tender documents and construction documents.
• Can express yourself very well in spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Good knowledge of relevant IT systems.

Meritorious

• Previously been a technical manager for water and wastewater.
• Good knowledge of MER and RA.
• Acted as a mentor.
• Experience in stormwater and flood investigations.

Location and other information

We offer a permanent position at SYSTRA AB, starting according to agreement with placement at our office in Jönköping.

Of course, we offer flexibility and the possibility of remote work a couple of days a week.
