The Role of Requirements Analyst

As a requirements analyst with us, you will be the crucial link between the organization's needs in their current systems and the possibilities of IT solutions – the one who ensures we speak the same language. Based on the organization's systems, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and documenting requirements regarding functionality, quality, and legal aspects.

Through your structured approach, your ability to ask the right questions, and your commitment, you create a common understanding of what is needed and ensure that our projects deliver the right value. As a requirements analyst, you will have a central role in our projects. You will conduct and document requirement analyses where you identify and specify the organization's needs based on current contracted systems, translate them into clear and measurable requirements, and ensure that all requirements are traceable throughout the project's lifecycle.

In the role of requirements analyst, you will, through interviews, workshops, observations, process mapping, and stakeholder dialogues:

• Conduct and document requirement analyses, needs, and stakeholder analyses
• Be active in business analyses to understand processes and goals.
• Provide clear documentation for development, procurement, and testing.
• Visualize and communicate requirements in a way that creates consensus among all parties.
• You will work closely with both business experts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders – always with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Through these efforts, you not only create a stable foundation for the projects but also contribute to a transparent and engaging work process.

The role is a permanent position with a start date to be agreed upon.

IT Center has overall responsibility for IT operations in Region Jönköping County. In close collaboration with our customers, we contribute to the development and support of the region's operations with good IT solutions. You will be part of the RTS unit – Regional Development, Traffic, and Support, which manages and drives projects related to systems for, among other things, the County Traffic, Business & Service Regional Development (including Smålands Musik & Teater and 4 schools).

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant university degree in IT, systems science, or equivalent.
• Has documented experience working as a requirements analyst, preferably in complex environments.
• Is accustomed to working with both functional and non-functional requirements and has experience with various methods and models for requirements work.
• Enjoys having many contact points and collaborating across organizational boundaries.
• It is an advantage if you also have experience with agile methodologies and feel comfortable with requirements management tools.

Since all communication is in Swedish, it is crucial that you are fluent in the language, both spoken and written.
