Personal Assistant Wanted for Active Young Man in Eksjö!

We are now looking for an engaged, caring, and active person who enjoys a dynamic work environment to work as a personal assistant for our super charming client in Eksjö! There are opportunities for summer employment, hourly work, and possibly a permanent position after the summer.

He is a cheerful young man nearing 25 years old with diagnoses including developmental disability and autism spectrum disorder.

In this role, it is important to actively look after the client and be present for him.

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a pedagogical and structured way while being very active in their job!

This active 25-year-old enjoys going to the gym, playing paddle, soccer, swimming, and playing video games. Do you have similar interests? Great, then you will fit in perfectly!

With this young man, we work a lot with activities and language development as the client requires sign language.

If you have experience with sign language, that is a big plus, but having an interest in learning it is also important.

Experience with autism and an understanding of the structure and working methods required is also advantageous, but personal suitability is considered the most important. You should be able to read and understand other people easily, have good self-awareness, and be confident in yourself. It is also important that you are responsible, flexible, and view this work as a long-term commitment.

Your work will primarily be based at home but will also involve going out for various activities with him.

Do you enjoy being active at work and coming up with ideas? Are you an initiative-taking person? Wonderful! That is exactly what is needed in this role as the client has a strong need to stay active.

A driving license (B) is a plus but not a requirement. Being able to swim is a requirement as you will sometimes accompany him to swimming.

Working hours / Duration: The position is primarily a summer job, but we also need hourly workers who can work as needed. There are good chances that it could lead to a larger continued position in the fall for those interested.
