Your New Job

As a social worker at the financial support reception, your tasks will include:

• Providing information and advice to applicants regarding financial support
• Conducting preliminary assessments and investigating eligibility for individuals applying for financial support
• Receiving and handling external transfers from other social services
• Conducting basic investigations during initial visits
• Handling emergency cases for non-active individuals via visits or phone
• Collaborating with both external and internal stakeholders

In our work towards the goal of making individuals self-sufficient, we start from each individual's circumstances. The investigation time at the reception varies depending on the citizen's situation before we hand over to those who work more specifically with the process towards self-sufficiency. The work at the reception is varied as we encounter different forms of social issues and is also rewarding as you support individuals in vulnerable situations. No workday is the same!

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. It is an advantage if you have experience in handling economic assistance, have worked with MIX, have MI training, and knowledge and experience of the operational system Combine. A B driver's license is required.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills, are flexible and curious. You are used to working in a fast-paced environment and are interested in and capable of motivating and supporting individuals in processes that lead to self-sufficiency. You can also prioritize and structure your work effectively and are clear in your communication.

Welcome to Us

As a social worker at the Financial Support reception, you will investigate the right to financial support for applicants who have not previously received financial support or whose family situation has changed. We work with MI on the path to self-sufficiency. We use the investigation template MIX, which you will receive training in if it is new to you.

We are now located in new and fresh premises at Slottsgatan 5, Jönköping.

Good to Know

The recruitment concerns 1 permanent position, full-time, with start date by agreement. Selection is ongoing. In your application, you should attach your degree certificate and your employment certificates.
