We are looking for a preschool assistant for a temporary position of 60-75% at our preschool.

Förskolan Smultronet is a preschool with a Christian profile located in Equmeniakyrkan Hovslätt. Our 36 children are divided into two departments on the ground floor of the church. We are close to the forest. All our food is prepared on-site by our cook.

We have trained and experienced staff and are now looking for another preschool assistant for a temporary position of 60-75%. The temporary position extends over the autumn term with a possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities

You will work as a preschool assistant in a group of children together with a preschool teacher who has the main responsibility for the education. Based on the governing documents we follow, the days are planned and organized to provide the children with a day that includes both care and educational moments.

As a preschool assistant, we expect you to have a good approach towards both children and adults. In your work, you will be responsible for gatherings and will also have contact with guardians.

Since we are a preschool with a Christian profile, there are confessional elements in the education. This means that we regularly have gatherings with Christian elements. Therefore, we find it important that you support Christian values and are comfortable with these elements.
