The Role Overview

As an accountant, you will play a central role in the company's finance function, where you will be responsible for managing ongoing accounting and year-end closing. You will also work with VAT reporting within the EU, prepare payroll for multiple units, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role also involves collaborating with other departments and external partners to improve and streamline processes within accounting and financial management.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Month-end reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate accounting.
• Preparation of VAT reporting in collaboration with the department and external partners.
• Management of currency transactions and ensuring correct access within the company.
• Preparation of payroll for different units, with the help of external partners.
• Responsibility for processes within accounting and ongoing improvements.
• Ongoing reporting to external authorities (SKV, BV, SCB).

What we are looking for: We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably from a similar role and environment.
• Good knowledge of Swedish accounting principles (K3).
• An analytical and system-oriented approach to work, as well as a strong ability to manage details in a fast-paced and change-driven work environment.
• Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with annual reports and year-end closing.
• Familiarity with VAT reporting and international trade (OSS, VOEC, EC Sales List).
• Experience in accounting for retail companies, e.g., inventory management and shipping.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
• Basic experience in payroll administration.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.
