JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves caring for five individuals based on their individual needs. We work according to an established implementation plan to provide the individual with a safe and meaningful everyday life. The purpose of the LSS group housing support is to promote equality in living conditions and enable participation in community life for those covered by the law. The goal is for the individual to have the opportunity to live like others.

The work includes care and physically demanding tasks. Aids are available and used in daily care work. Health and medical services are performed on delegation from a nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a person, you are solution-focused, meticulous, and independent. You are confident in yourself and find it easy to collaborate with others as well as to work alone. A professional approach is important where you, as an employee, are attentive and flexible to the needs of care recipients, colleagues, and the organization. You are passionate about providing our care recipients with the best possible care.

It is desirable that you have knowledge of different levels of ability, preferably autism, as well as cognitive and physical disabilities. Experience with low-arousal responses is an advantage.

To be considered for the positions, you need an approved education from the nursing and care program, child and leisure program, nursing education with further training, caregiver training, or other education deemed suitable for the role, e.g., behavioral science or pedagogical education at the university level of at least 120 credits.

To be eligible for employment, you must provide an extract from the police criminal record for verification of your own information in the criminal record (442.3) according to 9 § 1 st.
