Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.
We are now looking for you who want to work as an assistive device assistant with us at the assistive device center. We provide assistive devices to people with disabilities and perform technical service, support during trials, inventory management, and prescription of assistive devices within a limited area. The assistive device center is also active in the procurement process of the region's assistive device range in relevant areas. Our various professional groups also offer support and advice to colleagues outside the assistive device center. With us, assistive device technicians, assistive device consultants, warehouse staff, administrators, and assistive device assistants work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an assistive device assistant as one of our fantastic employees is retiring. In this role, you will work in support of the various responsibilities of the assistive device center together with other professionals.
We are now looking for you who want to work in the areas of goods reception, inventory management, and customer service.
What does the role entail?
- Goods Reception: Receive and manage incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain order in our inventory.
- Customer Service: Provide first-class service to our customers via phone and email.
What do we offer?

- Development: You will become proficient in the assistive device system SESAM and gain knowledge about its various parts.
- Diversity: The work may include several other areas within an assistive device operation, such as reconditioning and assembly of both larger and smaller assistive devices.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
- High school education, preferably with a technical or healthcare focus.
- Good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Driver's license B (manual transmission).
- Good physical condition, as the work involves physical tasks.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
We are looking for you who are meticulous, responsible, and have a positive attitude. You enjoy working independently and focusing on the task, but also collaborating with colleagues at the assistive device center. You find it easy to contact suppliers and customers and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. To succeed as an assistive device assistant, you need to be open, attentive, and service-oriented. You work solution-focused with a strong sense of quality, especially since we handle medical technology products. You have the ability to quickly adapt and prioritize, as changing demands within the assistive device world may mean that your tasks change over time.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Forklift license (order picker).
- A basic understanding of English.
- Experience working with various data systems.
