JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now need to strengthen unit 7 with an additional driven employee. We are looking for someone who has the best interests of the care recipients in mind and wants to be part of a wonderful team where the work is characterized by great commitment and a positive spirit. The unit consists of four group homes where individuals with mild/moderate intellectual disabilities reside. You will become a part of someone else's life and provide support in their daily activities. Your tasks will include cleaning, laundry, shopping, and various activities.

To thrive in this role, you need to be comfortable working in several different workplaces, as planning occurs both within and outside of unit 7. The working hours are irregularly scheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you need to be solution-focused, flexible, and responsible. You have a positive attitude, work meticulously, and enjoy juggling multiple tasks. You are a good team player and always keep the care recipient in focus. We would prefer if you have previous experience working with the target group.

The position requires basic computer skills as documentation is part of the job. A class B driver's license is desirable.

To be considered for the position, you must have a valid qualification from the health and care program, child and recreation program, nursing education with additional training, caregiver training, or other education deemed suitable for the position, such as behavioral science or pedagogical education at the university level of at least 120 credits.
