We are now looking for a housing supporter to our team at Åkervägen. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position is part-time at 80-85%. About Åkervägen Åkervägen is a service residence in Urshult with 8 places for people with disabilities. The work group is small and characterized by long experience with the target group, high engagement, and joy in work. The operation is located in a densely populated area close to grocery stores and public transport, yet it is also close to nature.

About the role As a housing supporter, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends.

You will have a group manager close to you who works part of their time in the operation. 

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
