Our Mission
Do you thrive in a dynamic and high-tech environment where innovation and precision are crucial? Are you passionate about process development, have a keen eye for quality, and want to make a difference on a global scale?
We are now looking for a Senior Process Engineer at Nobel Biocare who will play a key role in developing and optimizing our manufacturing processes.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of a global leader in medical technology manufacturing, where your work directly contributes to improving patients' quality of life. You will collaborate with top professionals in engineering, drive technical improvements, and take responsibility for process efficiency – while also having international exchanges with our production sites in Zurich and Los Angeles.
About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer for Nobel Biocare – a central role where you will have the opportunity to take our process development to the next level. In this strategically important position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring and further developing the quality of our project deliveries, our existing production, and our overall results.
As part of our team, you will lead and drive initiatives in process development, either as a project leader or as an active participant in technical improvement projects. The role is essential to meet both current and future demands on our processes and products. You will closely collaborate with our sister sites in Zurich and Los Angeles to strengthen our global production network.
We offer a dynamic work environment where you will work with engaged and driven colleagues from various engineering fields. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop internationally and contribute to innovative solutions in medical technology manufacturing.
We also offer an inspiring and modern work environment in an international and successful company in strong growth! We promote and encourage career and skills development, and our corporate culture is characterized by strong cohesion and teamwork. With us, you can expect a responsible role with varied tasks in a work environment marked by commitment and community. If you thrive in a flexible and dynamic environment, where a lot is happening around you, you will fit in perfectly!
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Act as process owner for specific process areas at our production site in Karlskoga, including handling deviations, CAPA processes, and lifecycle management.
- Optimize existing and new processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Conduct risk analyses (pFMEA) during process changes or when introducing new products and processes.
- Plan and execute process validations and equipment qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ/PV).
- Perform data analysis and process flow optimization to ensure robust and efficient manufacturing.
Your Profile
We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Process Engineer with a solid background in process development and process engineering within a GMP-regulated industry. You have an engineering degree and several years of experience from a strictly regulated industry with high demands on quality, traceability, and control.
In this senior role, you will have significant responsibility within the team, which requires you to be confident in yourself and able to work independently. At the same time, we value a humble and collaborative approach – we are looking for someone who enjoys teamwork, shares knowledge, and understands the importance of learning from others.
You have previous experience working in a GMP-regulated environment and have worked with process development, machine investments, and CAPEX projects. Experience with clean rooms and medical technology products is highly meritorious.
To succeed in the role, we see that you:
- Have strong analytical skills and can quickly identify critical process elements.
- Are meticulous, quality-conscious, and structured in your work approach.
- Are communicative and pedagogical, with the ability to collaborate across different areas of expertise.
- Feel comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading technical discussions both nationally and internationally.
- Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
