Technician with experience in fiber or electricity

Our client Eltel Networks is a leading Nordic provider of field services for communication and electricity networks, for a sustainable and connected world. Eltel Networks provides a wide range of services from project delivery to maintenance and upgrade solutions, primarily for owners of communication and electricity networks. The company is in an expansive period and needs to strengthen its team with technicians.

As a technician, you are responsible for installations that ensure that society's demands for increased connectivity are met, where the tasks mainly involve construction, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You work in a varied environment that includes both indoor and outdoor work, with both companies and private individuals. The team is responsible for a geographic district, where you are production-led by a production planner who supports you as needed.

The work initially takes place during the day between 07:30 and 16:00. Eltel has a safety profile and works closely with security-classified objects, which means that part of the recruitment process is to undergo a security review.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in fiber technology, especially in installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operation of fiber optic networks.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Manual B driver's license
• Clean criminal record

Meritorious:

• Fiber welding, splicing of Ribbon fiber
• Measuring fiber using OTDR instruments
• Documentation, reading and interpreting network diagrams
• Work with FTTH-related equipment/instruments and support systems
• Certified in fiber
• Knowledge of the structure of telecommunications and/or fiber networks
• Experience in construction and/or contracting work
• Holds electrical authorization
