We highly value collaboration, knowledge sharing, and personal development. We are now looking for a skilled mechanical designer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work closely with a cross-functional development team, where you will contribute mechanical solutions and develop new technical concepts. Your main tasks include:

• 3D modeling and creation of drawings
• Technical studies and analysis of new technology to drive development forward
• Evaluation of tests and results, including practical field tests
• Prototype manufacturing using methods such as 3D printing
• Further development of existing products and designs
• Documentation and reporting as well as support for purchasing and suppliers

The assignment is located at the client in Karlskoga, where you will have the opportunity to work on-site with competent colleagues and technical specialists.

Qualifications (Must-haves)

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design
• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical education
• Experience in design in a production or quality environment
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship)

Meritorious (Nice to have)

• Experience working in Catia and 3DExperience
• Experience in analyzing and conducting technical tests
• Interest in or experience with prototype manufacturing
