Your Role

In the part of Saab that you will join, Missile Systems, we are involved in developing many exciting products such as air defense missiles and cruise missiles among others.

As a Configuration Manager - Mechanics, your area of work will be within the change management process, and you will support projects with questions regarding change requests, change orders, and change meetings, but you will also be involved in reviewing design documents. A large part of the work takes place in the business system IFS and surrounding environments. You will work independently but will also be part of a team connected to development with other CMs. The position involves many contact points with several projects in Linköping, Karlstad, and Karlskoga.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and with their own responsibility but who is also a team player wanting to be part of something bigger and make a difference. You have a structured way of working, appreciate order and tidiness, and want to work with document management as well as work in and with processes. It is a great advantage if you have experience from previous service-oriented jobs as we serve the entire Missile Systems. You should be outgoing, driven, and able to express yourself well in writing and verbally in both Swedish and English. You are unpretentious with a good ability to take initiative and are used to independently structuring and driving your work. Experience working in larger business systems is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:

• Technical education or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience in a CM role, Change Order administrator, or equivalent
• Knowledge of IFS or equivalent larger PDM/PLM business systems

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
