Mechanical Engineer

We are now looking for another Mechanical Engineer to the Product Office!

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer with us, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of technical documentation and serve as a technical resource support for internal stakeholders. In this role, you will independently design and produce technical documentation for mechanical systems and ensure that existing designs remain producible.

The role belongs to the Product Office for LCS (Large Caliber Systems), and you will work closely with your colleagues within the team. Furthermore, you will have several points of contact within the organization, such as production, quality, purchasing, and engineering.

Your responsibilities and tasks include:

· Development and maintenance of technical documentation

· Serve as technical resource support to production, engineering, purchasing, and quality

· Participate in larger product maintenance projects

· Assist in the development of processes and improvement routines within the product department

· Provide technical expertise in quality testing and quality investigations

The Mechanical Engineer reports to the Manager Product Office LCS and is based at our office in Karlskoga or Lindesberg.

Our candidate

To succeed in the role of Mechanical Engineer, you have good technical knowledge and can handle multiple CAD systems and PDM systems. Furthermore, you have an understanding of strength of materials.

As a person, you are responsible and have the ability to move forward in your tasks. You are communicative and collaborative, and you appreciate a structured way of working where you can be meticulous.

We are looking for someone who may be at the beginning of their career and wants to continue developing with us.
