Asbest-Ident performs analyses of asbestos presence in building materials, and our clients are primarily found within the construction and real estate sectors. The company is in an expansion phase, and we are now looking for an additional laboratory technician to strengthen our team.

In your role, you will administer and analyze samples through visual microscopic assessment in the lab, receive customers, invoice, be responsible for purchases for the laboratory, and perform various simpler tasks. The work also includes collaborating with laboratory colleagues and the sales/customer manager, as well as contributing to the development of our services and ongoing improvement efforts within the company. The position may also involve short business trips to our labs in Malmö and Umeå.

Experience from a laboratory environment and the construction industry is a plus. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Other

The position is permanent at 100% with a start date in May by agreement. Your employment will begin with internal training partially located in Umeå under the guidance of Eva, the laboratory manager for Asbest-Ident. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
