SiS LVM home Fortunagården receives women aged 18 and over with substance abuse and, in most cases, also mental health issues. We have 30 places distributed across three departments. We are located in Värnamo in Småland.

Job Description

Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer temporary position as a treatment assistant at SiS LVM Fortunagården.

The goal of your assignment is to motivate our clients to new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you will help ensure that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and security of our clients, providing the foundation for daily life. You will contribute to maintaining safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your job. You will work on building good treatment relationships and help ensure that our clients receive the safety and security they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule, either day-evening and weekend or night. At Fortunagården, staff usually work every third weekend.

As a summer temporary employee at SiS, you will undergo a tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment.

Qualifications

You should have:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., from psychiatry, HVB operations, or from care and social services.
• Good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing
• A valid B driver's license is required for daytime work

If you have a two-year post-secondary education in the treatment field, there is an opportunity for employment as a treatment educator instead of a treatment assistant.

You have good communication skills and can maintain your calm even in stressful situations. We want to reward you for helping us during the summer period; therefore, those who work full-time as monthly employed temporary staff for more than four weeks will receive a bonus. Employment

The summer temporary position involves work during all weeks of the period from week 26 to week 33 in 2025. There is an opportunity for hourly employment throughout the spring. Hourly employment means that you do not have a fixed schedule but can work during peak periods or in the absence of regular staff.
