Welcome to the Rogberga-Öggestorp parish – a vibrant rural parish with our eyes fixed on Christ and our feet firmly rooted in Småland soil.

We are looking for someone who carries a calling to help build a worshiping community and assist people in discovering Christ and the church.

The Rogberga-Öggestorp parish has a history shaped by kings, monasteries, spiritual revivals, meeting places, and strong community life. Here, faith and community engagement have gone hand in hand for generations. Today, we are a small, engaged parish with a big purpose:

To help people come to faith in Christ and live in faith, to create and deepen Christian community, to expand God’s kingdom, and to restore creation.

Our work is grounded in the Word of God, prayer, hymns, worship, and church order. During the pandemic, we initiated an extensive vision work that has given us a three-year plan moving forward. We have defined our purpose – and now we are working on what it means concretely in all the parish's missions.

Your role

We are looking for a priest who wants to:

• Grow in their ministry and help shape worship as the center of the parish.

• Help build the parish's work among children, youth, and families.

• Deepen ecumenical work together with other churches in the area.

• Work intentionally and creatively with an engaged team.

• We place great importance on personal suitability.

We would like you to:

• Have good biblical knowledge.

• Be a secure leader with spiritual grounding.

• Have training as a parish priest or be interested in pursuing it.

• Play an instrument or enjoy contributing to the music life.

Requirements:

• Ordained in the Church of Sweden

• Extract from the criminal record

• B driver's license
