Södermalm School is a municipal primary school and adapted primary school from preschool class up to grade 9, located near Mariatorget in Södermalm. The school has 890 students and 135 staff members. The students' experience of safety and well-being is generally good, and the academic results are high. Your Role

In your role as a substitute teacher in mathematics and physical education, you will be responsible for planning and conducting your lessons in grades 7-9, and in physical education, you will also teach grade 6. You will be part of two subject teams, mathematics and physical education, where you will collaboratively plan and share subject-specific content with your teaching colleagues. In addition to subject teams, you will be part of a working group, together with five other teachers, where you will all be mentors for the students in grade 7. You, along with the other mentors for the grade, will collaborate on common student matters such as absenteeism, results, and social interaction. In your mentorship, you will be responsible for conducting development talks and you will have an overarching responsibility for social, subject, and knowledge-related issues related to your mentees. You will initiate contact with guardians as needed to follow up on school-related matters. You will participate in joint pedagogical conferences for school development both within the upper secondary school and overarching issues for the entire school where all teachers at the school are included.

Your Competence and Experience

We are now looking for a licensed teacher for a parental substitute position for grades 7-9 with a focus on mathematics and physical education. In physical education, you will also teach grade 6.

• have good knowledge of NPF.

A positive attitude, quality thinking, and flexibility are highly valued. We also place great importance on personal qualities.

Using IT as a natural part of the work is a given. We work with SMART Boards and students have access to their own tablets.
