We are looking for you who want to work as a resource educator at our after-school program during the summer when our regular staff is on vacation. 

Your background

We believe that you have an interest in creating good relationships with both students and guardians, in order to best meet the students in their everyday lives. We would like you to have experience working with children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric diagnoses and intellectual disabilities, as well as knowledge of low-arousal approaches and other methods that support students' learning and social development.

Expectations

We value personal competence and are looking for someone who is independent, driven, and flexible with a solution-focused attitude. You should be curious with good collaboration skills and the ability to create and maintain relationships. It is important that you can be trustworthy and responsive to the students' needs.  Qualifications

Education such as a care program or a child and youth program is meritorious. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

More about the position

Duration: summer temporary position from June to August by agreement

Extent: 75-100%

Working hours: Monday-Friday, rotating schedule, irregular working hours

Salary: hourly wage 

Start date: by agreement.
