Solhem School is located in Spånga, about a five-minute walk from Spånga Center.
You can easily reach us by commuter train from, among others, T-Centralen. Spånga C has many bus lines available to our area.
Solhem School is a four-parallel F-6 school with about 745 students and 100 staff members. Solhem School consists of two school units, Solhem School and Solhemsängen School. The school management consists of a principal and three assistant principals, as well as an administrative manager.

Your role
We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher. You have at least the qualification to teach grades 4-6 in the subjects of math/science/technology/English. You preferably have a broad qualification with a focus on F-6, 1-7, or similar. For the school year 25/26, the position is currently placed in grade 4 for these subjects at Solhemsängen School, working in a four-parallel grade where two fourth grades are at Solhemsängen and two at Solhem School.
You have the ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs and structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and adequate learning environment is created. In planning your teaching, you prioritize students' learning first. You plan for students to have an engaging and educational school day with opportunities for both individual work and collaboration.
In the classroom, you recognize the importance of your role as a knowledgeable, teaching teacher. Your pedagogical and didactic ability, combined with clear leadership and relational competence, creates a knowledge-focused classroom climate with secure students who actively participate in the teaching. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role effectively.
You are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and establish good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Your communication with colleagues, students, and guardians is professional, thoughtful, and clear due to your linguistic ability. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Your competence and experience
- Teaching degree with qualifications in science subjects, technology, mathematics, and English
- Broad qualifications, e.g., F-6 or 1-7 is an advantage
- Teaching license
- Meritorious with experience working with children in need of special support and giftedness
