We are now looking for a Special Teacher for grades 5-9 at Brunnsängskolan!
Brunnsängskolan is a F–9 school with approximately 600 students. Our mission is "The school where you are seen" and it permeates the entire operation. The school is located in the Brunnsäng area and is a multicultural school with students from 40 different countries. At the school, we actively work with everyone's right to be respected for who they are, a work that yields good results with increased awareness among all to show respect for each other. The school is characterized by good cooperation between teachers and students. Starting in the fall of 2025, we will launch a football profile in collaboration with Hammarby football, as well as other profiles such as music & choir, art & design, and theory profile.
Your responsibilities:
As a Special Teacher at Brunnsängskolan, you will be an important part of our EHT team and you will have a special educator as a colleague in your daily work.
- You ensure that students receive the right support and assist teachers in their pedagogical work.
- You work closely with school management and are an extended arm in ensuring that teachers and students have the right conditions to succeed.
- You plan and drive the work regarding support at the individual, group, and organizational level.
- In collaboration with teachers and guardians, you are a support in adapting studies for students.
- You establish action programs and conduct investigations, such as pedagogical mapping when needed.
- You work systematically for improved goal fulfillment and have a documentation responsibility where we use the ProRenata system.
- You plan, evaluate, and follow up on students' knowledge development.
- You collaborate with other educators at the school and with guardians.
- You are a skilled didactician and have good leadership in the classroom and know that the path to learning goes through good relationships.
- You have the ability to create accessible learning and see the importance of the entire learning environment.
- You have a good ability to create clear structures that enable a joyful learning experience for students.

- You have a good ability to create good and trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
Requirements:
- You have a degree with teaching certification as a Special Teacher
- You are well acquainted with LGR22 and the governing documents
- You have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
Meritorious:
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and would like to see that:
- You have experience in teaching as a Special Teacher and experience in establishing action programs and pedagogical mappings.
- You have experience working in a multicultural area where language and knowledge-developing approaches are in focus
- You have experience working with students with NPF diagnoses
