Yrkesgymnasiet Umeå is primarily seeking a certified vocational teacher in Electrical subjects, but those with at least five years of work experience in the Electrical industry are also welcome to apply.

With us, students learn a trade from the ground up in real workplaces with experienced supervisors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the electricians of the future. More than half of the students' training time takes place in a workplace, giving them a solid foundation and advantage in the job market. We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Electrical subjects or has at least five years of experience in the Electrical industry and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between school, students, and the business community.
• Has a valid driver's license and preferably access to a personal vehicle.
• Has the ability to work independently while also being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future careers.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience in the Electrical industry and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of electricians. A teaching certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
