Vindex is now looking for an Accounting Manager for one of our clients in retail, a dynamic and expanding player that has experienced strong growth in recent years. The company is seeking an Accounting Manager for its accounting team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment and has a strong drive to influence and improve. This role involves significant responsibility for accounting within a growing group, where you will collaborate with various departments and business areas to ensure effective and accurate processes. The recruitment process is conducted through Vindex, but you will be employed directly by our client.

Location: Stockholm

Responsibilities

In the role of Accounting Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the group's accounting, ensuring that reporting and year-end work meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to optimize and ensure that processes are correct and efficient. As Accounting Manager, you will play a central role in the work with monthly and annual reports, tax calculations, and regulatory reporting.

Main tasks

• Be responsible for and ensure the quality of ongoing accounting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and annual reports
• Perform monthly balance reconciliations and profit analyses
• Prepare and present monthly reports for relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct and ensure the quality of VAT reconciliations
• Drive improvements and digitalization of internal processes
• Prepare income and VAT declarations, as well as SCB statistical reporting

Qualifications and experience

• Academic education in finance
• Solid experience in qualified accounting, preferably within Nordic markets.
• Experience applying K3 regulations and IFRS.
• Experience from the retail industry, preferably in controlling/accounting
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
