About the job

Within the area of international individuals, you will work with the handling and investigation of cases that vary in scope and complexity. The area primarily includes income from employment, income from capital, and yield tax on foreign insurance. As a case officer, you are responsible for clarifying how the client's situation should be handled, both materially and practically, regarding taxation, according to both domestic law and tax treaties, as well as pensionable income. In your work, you will analyze and assess various types of documentation, often foreign documents. With the support of laws and regulations, you will evaluate the documentation and make decisions.

You will plan your own workday and manage your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. You will work closely with your colleagues, providing and receiving support from each other. The work is qualified, and you will learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and deeply. The job involves a lot of customer contact, and an important part of the assignment is to provide the customer with good conditions to do the right thing in the future. You will have flexible working hours, and it is essential for us that you maintain a balance between work and leisure.

You will belong to the personal taxation department and work in personal taxation unit 5, located in Linköping.

You should also have:

• a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics or law.

It is desirable that you have current and relevant experience in handling tasks within public operations, agencies, insurance companies, or banks. It is also desirable that you have current knowledge of international tax law.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.
