About the operation:

In the Unit for Integration and Language, we work with mother tongue teaching and study guidance for all schools in the municipality as well as the reception of newly arrived students in the municipality's primary schools.

Job responsibilities:

In your role as a mother tongue teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching according to the curriculum and course plan in mother tongue. Teaching takes place on Wednesdays from 15:10 to 16:00. The teacher teaches remotely using Google Meet, and the students remain at their home schools where supervisors are available. The position will be 5%.

Qualifications:

• It is advantageous if you have a Swedish teacher's license and are a qualified mother tongue teacher in Serbian
• Have the relevant language as your mother tongue with documented good knowledge of Serbian
• Have very good knowledge of the Swedish curriculum
• Speak and write Swedish at a good academic level
• Have experience teaching via remote education
• Have experience in mother tongue teaching
• Are a regular user of iPads/computers as well as Google Classroom and Google Meet

The employment is a permanent position at 5%, and a probationary period may apply. The start date of the employment is August 13, 2025. If you lack a Swedish teacher's license, the employment will be a fixed-term contract for one year at a time. We apply individual salary setting.
