About the job

Blombackaskolan is a dual-parallel F–9 school with just over 500 students and 70 employees. The school is located by Torekällberget with close public transport connections, centrally in Södertälje, with a fantastic nature-oriented schoolyard. Your tasks

You will teach our students in grades 4–6 in the subjects of Swedish, SO, and English. As a teacher at Blombackaskolan, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching. You have the ability to create a positive learning environment with accessible teaching that fosters a desire to learn and where students develop as far as possible based on their conditions. In the classroom, you are a clear leader who has high expectations of the students while also giving them responsibility to work both in groups and individually. Your clear leadership and varied teaching both promote and maintain safety and study peace in the classroom. Blombackaskolan's teaching is characterized by a language and knowledge-developing approach that is marked by student participation, clear learning goals that are evaluated and followed up. Your lessons therefore have a clear progression, and the lesson content is explained and contextualized for the students.

As a teacher at Blombackaskolan, you belong to a subject team and a work team where collegial learning is constantly ongoing, all to develop the quality of teaching to help our students succeed as far as possible based on their conditions. The position also means that you contribute to Blombackaskolan's development work from an F-9 perspective.

- You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and to communicate with students, guardians, and colleagues in a way that takes responsibility for the message and ensures that the recipient understands what you mean.

Requirements:
- You have a degree with a teaching license for grades 4–6 in the subjects of Swedish, SO, and English.
- You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have a formative approach to your teaching.
- You have competence and experience in working with a language and knowledge-developing approach with good results.

Meritorious:
- You have a teaching license in an additional subject, preferably in Swedish as a second language.
- You have experience and skill in using digital tools, and the tools are used consciously to enhance students' learning.

A fixed-term employment at 100% as a teacher in grades 4-6 in the subjects of Swedish, SO, and English with shared mentorship. Part of the teaching takes place in dual and/or multiple teacher settings.
