Vällingbyskolan is a pleasant F-9 school with an adapted primary school located near Vällingby center and beautiful green areas.

There are approximately 800 students and 145 staff members. At Vällingbyskolan, there is dedicated and experienced staff striving to create the best possible school for their students. We have invested in strengthening the school's student health work by increasing the number of special teachers, counselors, and school nurses, as well as introducing full-time mentors in grades 4-9.

In the coming years, we will work together to continue developing the operations with a focus on student learning and teaching quality.

Job Description

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications in visual arts for grades 4-9.

You will be part of a work team where you collaborate closely on planning, teaching, and assessment. Together, you will work to differentiate and adapt the teaching according to the student group. The work team also includes full-time mentors, special teachers, and special educators with whom you will collaborate closely to create a safe school day for our students. Collaboration is a prerequisite and a given, both within the work team and with other teams at the school. It is together with others that you provide students with the best conditions for learning and development.

The position is a permanent employment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is qualified, licensed, and has experience teaching visual arts for grades 4-9.

You have good communication skills and place great importance on creating a safe, stable, and clear learning environment for the students. Your goal is to design an enjoyable and modern teaching experience and work from the perspective that all students should have the opportunity to succeed in school. We expect you to be development-oriented and active in the school's work team and in the school's joint development.

You should be well acquainted with your teaching assignment and confident in your leadership. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
