Helsingborg Hospital is one of Region Skåne's four acute hospitals. Here, qualified emergency care is provided around the clock.

At the day surgery department, adults and children over one year old are cared for from all surgical specialties as well as the endoscopy and radiology departments. We are a combined admission department for patients who proceed to inpatient care while also conducting day surgery. The pre- and postoperative care takes place in the department. It is both planned and subacute operations. We are open Monday to Friday.

We are a small and friendly department that cares for our patients and each other. We offer you a workplace with good cohesion where a workday is rarely the same as another.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for you who are a nurse and have a great interest in pre- and postoperative care!

In the role of nurse in the Day Surgery Department, you will work with pre and postoperative care as well as care for patients with increased monitoring needs or requiring a higher level of care. We also function as an admission department for patients who proceed to inpatient care after surgery. Your work is very varied, and we provide service to all types of surgical specialties.

We offer you internal training and individual introduction based on your previous experiences and competencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to work in Swedish healthcare. You have knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

We would like you to have experience in emergency care/surgery/orthopedics/urology/gynecology and that you have previously worked with relevant IT systems in healthcare, such as Orbit and Melior.

We are looking for someone who appreciates challenges and flexibility in their work and who has a positive attitude towards both patients and colleagues. It is important that you thrive and function well in communicating and collaborating in teams both in your profession and with other professions. You are good at planning and prioritizing between different tasks, you are meticulous and work systematically and safely even in situations when the pace is high.

Your competence is important, and we expect you to share and contribute both knowledge and experiences with your colleagues.
