Description

We are looking for a dedicated and creative special education teacher to join our team for grades F–6.

Åsenskolan is a F-3 school and Kungshamns school is a 4-6 school where engaged employees take good care of each other and work together in teams. Responsibilities

As a teacher at Åsen and Kungshamns schools, you will work with students who need extra support and adjustments to meet the knowledge requirements. Your task is to create an inclusive and positive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to develop and thrive.

You are responsible for:

• planning and conducting teaching in various subjects for students in grades F-6.
• adapting teaching to the individual needs and conditions of the students. This also includes an interest in digital tools in teaching.
• collaborating with colleagues, special educators, and other staff to create a holistic view of the student's learning.
• following up and evaluating students' progress and adapting teaching as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed special education teacher with authorization to teach in grades 1–6, preferably with a specialization in language, writing, and reading development.
• Experience working with students who need special support is an advantage.
• Good collaboration skills and flexibility, where you adapt your approach and communication with students based on their needs and have the ability to help students see their personal progress.
