JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The unit encompasses both accounting and accounts payable, with a total of 8 employees. The finance department, where the unit is included, consists of controlling, accounting, purchasing and procurement, product support, and invoicing, and we manage the companies' overall financial statements and accounting. We are part of Renova's staff functions together with HR, IT, Sustainability, and communication. We are located at Holmen in Gothenburg, in modern premises within walking distance from the central station, with a view of the Göta River.

Your mission:

As an Accountant, you will play a central role in ensuring accurate and quality-assured financial statements.

Your main tasks include:

Financial closing work for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
Participation in the work with annual reports.
VAT reconciliation and declarations.
Asset accounting and reconciliation of intercompany balances.
Support and analysis to staff departments in monitoring financial outcomes.
Participation in investigations and projects that affect accounting and controlling.

QUALIFICATIONS

What we are looking for in you:

University/college education or equivalent.
At least 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in accounting.
Knowledge in accounting and consolidated financial statements.
Advanced level in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Experience in VAT reconciliation is a plus.
