Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a special education teacher with a focus on Mathematics.

You will plan and conduct teaching, mapping, guidance, and observation of both individual children, students, and groups. You will work to ensure that students receive the best possible development, both academically and socially, and actively influence and stimulate students to develop as far as possible to meet the knowledge requirements. You will conduct training for and provide guidance to staff and support management in working with children and students in need of special support. You will participate in operational and methodological development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher/preschool teacher and has a special education degree for work in grades 7-9. Previous experience working as a special education teacher focused on Mathematics is an advantage. You need to have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to apply them in your daily work. It is important that you have good didactic and pedagogical skills as well as knowledge of relevant digital tools.

Malmö Idrottsgrundskola is a unique school that offers students the opportunity to combine their studies with a focus on their sports. The school is located in the Stadion area of Malmö in modern and fresh facilities. Currently, seventeen different sports are represented at the school, and all students are admitted through entrance tests.
