HR Specialist in Salary Formation and Working Conditions
We are a leading player in health care and social services with high ambitions, offering many opportunities for development. We are looking for someone who, together with 10,000 colleagues, wants to make it possible – in both action and response.
We are in a future-oriented industry, and it is important to show what we stand for and what you can experience if you become a part of us. It will be an exciting journey towards the world's best city for a long and dignified life. We are Gothenburg. Welcome aboard!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to be one of several driving forces in the development of our HR unit for salary formation and working conditions within one of Sweden's largest municipal administrations? Together with eight dedicated colleagues, you will create the best possible conditions for managers to grow and develop into both competent and present leaders in the elderly and care administration.
Your main task is to work long-term and strategically with issues related to collaboration, working hours, salary formation, and negotiation together with your colleagues. You will ensure effective and equitable handling within the administration and contribute to keeping us at the forefront of negotiations. You will independently lead and drive your areas of responsibility, serve as expert support for HR specialists and managers, and educate and develop managers to become skilled in their assignments.
Your role includes communicating and explaining to managers, union representatives, and other HR specialists in a way that makes it easy to do the right thing. You are accustomed to interpreting and translating legal texts and collective agreements into practical reality.
You will also participate in various networks related to your area of responsibility. Together with managers, unions, and other HR specialists, you and your colleagues will work on labor law issues and handle negotiations and collaboration. Your role also involves engaging in the HR department's overall work with decision-making, follow-up, and reporting key figures to management and the board; a role where you also have a central importance in our environmental monitoring within your area of responsibility.
Together with your approximately 100 colleagues in the HR department, we strive to be proactive, competent, and engaged, providing the most qualified support possible.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree focused on personnel and labor issues, or equivalent education.
- Very good knowledge of the laws and agreements applicable to municipalities or regions.
- Experience in qualified HR work within labor law, negotiation/collaboration, working hours, salary formation, and experience leading negotiations and discussions.
Personal qualities:
In your role, you need to be able to identify and analyze the core of problems and find and propose possible solutions by drawing logical conclusions and seeing connections, even when the information is complex/limited. You also demonstrate a very good ability to adapt your communication to the recipient and can express the core of an argument clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. You work for cohesion in workgroups, are courageous, attentive, and unpretentious, actively listening to others' viewpoints and perspectives.
You are also a person who thinks long-term and can work with a broad perspective, reconciling operational plans and strategic planning with the administration's plans and the city's goals and vision. You also show a high degree of analytical ability to see the whole and use this in both short and long-term work. You are accustomed to working both independently and in a group and enjoy educating and teaching within your area of expertise.
