On the outskirts of Lidköping, there is Sjölunda school, a brand new school that offers space for 350 students in grades F-6.

About the job

Your main task is to challenge students in learning together with colleagues and support the student in their knowledge development towards set goals.

In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, you will work with colleagues in work teams to develop the school based on our prioritized development areas.

Who are you

You are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach wood and metal crafts in grades 1-6. Your ability to create good trusting relationships with students is a prerequisite.

We are looking for someone who is well acquainted with the purpose of the subjects, abilities, and assessment criteria and is well versed in the school's view of knowledge and value base mission. You have good knowledge and competence in digital and formative learning processes.

You have the ability to motivate and create situations that contribute to meaningful learning and accessible learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and participation. You have the ability to see and meet each student and start from what works, as well as having broad leadership and stimulation in teaching.

You see opportunities in close collaboration with others. Your learning in collegial learning is a given. You reflect on and analyze your own teaching as a natural part of your practice.

You have a very good ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are communicative and creative. We hope you can, want to, and dare to think and try new things together with others.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

Permanent position 80-100% starting August 2025. Teaching at Sjölunda and Otterstad schools.

Probationary employment may apply.
