Daltorpskolan is located in the southwestern part of Borås, just a ten-minute walk from the city center. The school is modern and consists of various buildings. The main building is beautiful and in an old-fashioned grand style, and about 400 students attend the school.

At the school, we work goal-oriented, and the leadership and approach are based on good relationships. We learn from each other and solve challenges together. Support in the work includes student health, a library, study and career guidance, and school management.

Teacher for grades 7-9, crafts at Daltorpskolan

Job Responsibilities

The position as a crafts teacher at Daltorpskolan for grades 7-9 means that you will teach both textile crafts and wood and metal crafts. The school has two additional craft teachers who teach in their respective subjects. In your role, you will be responsible for preparation, implementation, follow-up, and assessment of your teaching. You will have access to two purpose-built craft classrooms, where the wood and metal craft room has been newly renovated. There are also great opportunities for close collaboration and parallel work with subject colleagues.

You have high and positive expectations for all students. Your approach is motivating, and you work with significant student influence to provide students with various opportunities to develop. You enjoy meeting young people from different backgrounds and circumstances. This is demonstrated by how your teaching is planned, implemented, and evaluated based on the students' needs.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a certified teacher with the authority to teach crafts for grades 7-9. If you have qualifications in any additional subject, we view that positively.

You are confident in your leadership and have the ability to lead and motivate students while creating a safe and permissive learning environment. You have good collaboration skills and a willingness and drive to take responsibility for students' academic and social development together with the team. You are motivated to develop methods and approaches that benefit all students.
