Job Description

We are looking for software developers who want to help develop the industry! We are a broad provider focusing on Industrial IT and are seeking more skilled and driven colleagues to our team in Luleå to support our customers in Northern Sweden. Our applications are often production-critical and crucial for our customers' success. This may involve, for example, Production Systems (MES), Cybersecurity, visualization, or communication with equipment/integration in the cloud. You will be part of a larger team of experienced colleagues who enjoy working together in an inviting atmosphere where we value collaboration, learning, and having fun at work.

As a developer, you have the opportunity to grow in different environments through existing systems combined with the latest technology. The work may include both updates of existing systems and new development from requirements analysis to commissioning. There are great opportunities to develop and take your career where you want.

Examples of tasks:

• Technical solution design and feasibility study.
• Broad system development; Back/Front-end frameworks, databases, integrations, and APIs.
• Develop AFRY's own system platform as well as customers' specific solutions.
• Understand and translate user needs into an appropriate technical solution.
• Work with other colleagues within AFRY to deliver larger solutions.

Qualifications

We believe you are a data engineer or a master's degree engineer in computer science or have acquired equivalent knowledge.

You have experience as a software developer and working in projects with a mix of technologies. It is a merit if you have experience from production and/or process industry and an interest in developing good solutions for users in that environment. You who apply have broad technical knowledge and interest in, for example; .NET Fullstack, SQL, Oracle, and front-end technologies, etc.

As a person, we are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving combined with a good sense of customer service and the variety that comes with the role of a consultant.
