Frontend and/or Backend Developer

At the Swedish Pensions Agency, we are currently on an exciting transformation journey to develop our new benefits system from the ground up.

We are now looking for several frontend and/or backend developers who are collaborative and enjoy working in teams!

We work across the entire development cycle, from requirements gathering, design, and development to test automation, deployment, and maintenance. We are cross-functional and ensure that our web services meet high standards for performance, security, and accessibility, while delivering a smooth and reliable experience for our users. We work agile according to the SAFe framework to create value continuously.

Your profile

You enjoy collaborating in teams where we share the work and learn from each other. You express your opinion, listen to others, and are also comfortable collaborating remotely, as we work in and across distributed teams. You like problem-solving and translating complex requirements into structured and quality-assured code. Additionally, you are eager to participate in the work of continuous improvements in the choice of technology and methodology.

We care about our culture and how we together create our common workplace. Therefore, we place great importance on your personal qualities.

We see that you:

• are educated in computer science, software engineering, or have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way
• have several years of work experience as a frontend and/or backend web developer
• have experience and enjoy working in agile teams
• master the Swedish language well

It is meritorious if you:

• have experience with Vue.js or another JavaScript framework
• have experience with Spring Boot
• have experience with code and build tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven
• have experience working with technical tests in Selenium

Good to know

The position is a permanent full-time employment and we apply a 6-month probationary period. The place of employment is Stockholm or Luleå.

The employment may be placed in a security class.

The Swedish Pensions Agency is responsible for the public pension and informs about the entire pension system. Each year, we pay out approximately 415 billion SEK to 2.3 million pensioners, conduct about 911,000 fund switches, and send out 8 million orange envelopes. We have about 25 million digital customer contacts per year. We are approximately 1,700 employees at eight locations, from Luleå in the north to Halmstad in the south.
