Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes about 20 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 250 billion kronor each year. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. The northern region is in an exciting transition phase where we are growing as a service provider to other authorities. Here, we value knowledge sharing and collaboration, and we are now looking for an IT Coordinator to strengthen our team and contribute to the development of essential public services.

IT Coordination, Inter-agency Collaboration, Project Management, Complex IT Environments

The role involves coordinating and managing IT services both internally and with external actors such as the Pensions Agency. You are expected to drive improvements of existing services and establish new ones, as well as support colleagues in developing future collaboration models. The work requires a holistic view of IT services and their impact on operations, as well as a good understanding of the agency's regulations and security requirements.

You will lead and participate in various forums, produce and present reports, and create structure in the collaborative work. The role also involves analyzing and solving challenges through strategic work and mediation. To succeed, a flexible working style is required, where you can independently prioritize, structure, and direct your work based on the needs of the organization.

An important part of the assignment is to ensure that IT services meet the operational requirements and comply with applicable regulations. You will have close dialogue with both internal and external actors to maintain quality and security in deliveries. Furthermore, it includes developing working methods and processes for more effective and transparent collaboration, as well as proactively working with risk management and improvement measures.

To succeed in the role, you need to take initiative and responsibility, build relationships both within and outside the agency, be a good listener, and quickly and effectively understand and analyze complex issues.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• has experience in project management, system development, or system administration in complex IT environments
• has the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with both internal and external actors
• has good adaptability and can navigate in an organization where conditions and needs change over time
• is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has good communication skills, both orally and in writing
• has a systematic and meticulous working style
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have

• experience in inter-agency collaboration
• experience in delivering products and services in the IT industry
• experience in IT security and regulatory compliance in the public sector
• experience in improving and streamlining work processes within IT
• knowledge of change management and implementation of new working methods
• experience in handling complex IT issues at a strategic level.

This is a permanent, full-time position, with a start date by agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required.
