The Gothenburg primary school administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool class to grade nine, adapted primary school, culture school, and after-school care. The administration has 138 municipal primary schools where nearly 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who work together to develop and take care of the operations - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Fjällskolan was built in 1889 and is located at the top of Masthugget, with the scenic Slottsskogen as a neighbor. About 390 students from preschool class to grade 6 attend Fjällskolan. Since HT24, Fjällskolan belongs to the new school area Centrum 13, together with Oscar Fredriksskolan. Together we create a desire to learn, in a safe learning environment with ample space for students' development.
We are now looking for a licensed teacher in after-school care with a focus on music. You will work with our students in grades F-3. At Fjällskolan, we have five different after-school departments. Together with the teachers in after-school care, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the after-school activities. The school's collective work team, with teachers in after-school care, collaborates well to ensure the quality and equity of the after-school programs. We actively work to increase opportunities for students to meet across age boundaries and strengthen the sense of community. Some teaching in the subject of music may occur in this position.
In the role of teacher in after-school care, you design the pedagogical activities so that each student's unique conditions and abilities are taken into account and each student is challenged according to the after-school's mission. Collegial learning is a focus in our operations, and you should have an interest and commitment to this. We expect you to actively contribute to the school's ongoing development work, where outdoor activities are a given focus. Since HT25, Fjällskolan has been a training school for VFU students, and we would like you to be interested in contributing to the continued work of mentoring students who do their VFU with us.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are now looking for a licensed teacher in after-school care with a focus on music. We prefer that you have experience working in after-school care. It is an advantage if you have experience as a VFU mentor and have completed mentor training.
As a person, you are flexible and can change how you work when things change in the job. You can quickly adjust your perspective and approach and see opportunities in changes.
By adapting your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation, you ensure that your message gets through. You convey information and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
You are also motivated to learn new things and develop. You come up with new ideas and take the initiative for improvements. You have a genuine interest in children's development and learning.
