Your Responsibilities

As a Security Vetting Specialist, you will work within the security function at Saab, providing service to the organization and managing security-related tasks. A significant part of your role will focus on security vetting, where you will conduct interviews, provide support during interviews, coordinate, develop, and administer security processes. Your tasks will also include: - Security support in the form of 1st line - Security handling - Management of regulations related to personnel security and GDPR - Registration of documents - Inventory of documents - Background checks - Digitization of security processes - Onboarding, offboarding, and training related to security. You will be part of Group Security at Saab, which consists of 17 employees spread across various locations in Sweden. Your workplace will be in Huskvarna.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with previous experience in conducting security vetting interviews or similar conversational methodologies. Education and/or experience in security is advantageous, as is education in law or behavioral sciences. You have good system skills and are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Since travel may be required for the position, a valid driver's license (B) is a requirement. You will be part of a team, so we appreciate positive energy, flexibility, and good collaboration skills. As you will be driving several processes independently, you need to be self-motivated and capable of making decisions. You will have a broad social network, so we are looking for a communicative person who can easily relate to their surroundings. Like many other companies, some administrative work is also included, which you should handle in a structured and orderly manner. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has security clearance requirements, this may entail citizenship requirements.
