About the Company

Norrköping Port is one of the country's larger ports, with many national and international customers. The operations are run by Norrköping Port AB, which is owned by Norrköping Municipality. The port plays a central role in the development of the region as a strong logistics location.

The company has approximately 160 employees, of which about thirty are located at our headquarters in beautiful surroundings in Händelö, directly adjacent to Pampushamnen. Your Responsibilities

As the accounting manager at Norrköping Port, you will not only be responsible for ensuring that the accounting maintains a high quality – you will also have the opportunity to develop and streamline processes in an environment where you can truly influence and change.

In this role, you will be part of the finance department where you will closely collaborate with colleagues in the finance function to drive the financial processes and strategic work forward. You will work with ongoing accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and year-end closing, as well as preparing the annual report. You will work closely with the CFO, and together with your colleagues, you will have the opportunity to develop both accounting routines and reporting systems. Here, you will have ample room to shape the work on your own. In your role, you will also have the chance to actively contribute to projects related to digitization and streamlining of financial processes.

Your Profile

To succeed in the role of accounting manager, we are looking for someone with several years of relevant experience in the field and who feels confident both operationally and strategically. You have been responsible for reporting and the process around year-end closing and the preparation of the annual report, and have experience with various financial systems.

As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, and communicative, with a positive outlook and a willingness to collaborate in both small and large contexts. You know that quality and compliance are in focus, and you are a self-driven and analytical person with a good sense of direction and goals. You have a natural affinity for structure and precision, and you have an eye for detail.

You have a good ability to express yourself in both spoken and written form, in both Swedish and English. You thrive in a dynamic and flat organization where decision-making paths are short, with the opportunity to drive change and development of processes. With your experience and an understanding of the business, you contribute to the company's continued growth and development.

We also see that you have:

• Post-secondary education in economics (equivalent to a master's degree in business administration)
• Good system proficiency, including experience with BI and financial systems
• Very good skills in Excel
• Perhaps you have experience from a similar, broad operation (e.g., industry, manufacturing, logistics), previous work at an auditing firm, or experience from publicly owned commercial operations.
