Special Education Teacher Wanted

Your Mission

Your focus will be on teaching, assessment, and development, and you will be a key person in strengthening students' knowledge development. Your tasks include, among others:

• Teaching students individually, in groups, and in classes to support their goal achievement.
• Analyzing screening results in collaboration with special educators and suggesting pedagogical measures.
• Guiding teachers to enhance teaching quality and create a more accessible learning environment.
• Identifying risks that may affect students' learning and designing preventive measures.
• Conducting special educational assessments and documenting recommendations.
• Participating in didactic discussions and being responsible for student screenings.
• Working operationally with students in need of support and contributing to their language development.
• Keeping up with current research and applying it in practice.
• Collaborating with student health, work teams, and external actors to develop the organization.

Your Experience

You have:

• Teaching certification with authorization to teach grades 1-3.
• Special education degree with a focus on reading and writing.
• Good knowledge of the school curriculum, values, and governing documents.
• Experience in special education assignments and pedagogical assessments.
• Experience in teaching reading skills at the primary level.
• Experience working with children and students with language disorders.
• Strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with IT-based tools and teaching materials.
• Experience working in a multicultural learning environment.
