Job Responsibilities

The new Resource School in the Rönnen area is looking for a social educator for a temporary position in grades 1-3. The social educator's role includes being active in student groups during the school day as well as in the after-school program before and after school hours. The social educator supports and motivates students, both at group and individual levels. In collaboration with teachers and other staff at the school, the social educator shapes and develops the school's learning environment to create a safe and stimulating environment that contributes to students' learning and development. The social educator works with the school's core values and actively participates in the school's development work. The social educator contributes to a holistic view where society, group, and individual interact.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education as a social educator at either folk high school/vocational college/qualified vocational training level or university level. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a social educator or in a similar role and have experience working with children, preferably in schools and with children with NPF.

We also consider it an advantage if you have experience working with children, preferably in schools. Furthermore, you have a good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in your daily work.

Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards building good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
