About us

The Adult Psychiatric Clinic is part of the division of psychiatry and functional disabilities. The mission of the organization is to provide specialized psychiatric care to adults with severe psychiatric illness in southern and western Sörmland. The goal of the organization is to achieve improved mental health, quality of life, and functional ability for our patients.

The Psychiatric Clinic in Nyköping is a small and well-functioning clinic located at the hospital with the opportunity for collaboration with somatic clinics. The clinic has two inpatient wards, one focused on intensive care/addiction and the other on general psychiatry/psychosis. Our psychiatric outpatient care is divided into general psychiatry, psychosis, and addiction, and we have outpatient clinics in both Nyköping and Katrineholm.

Your tasks

As a nurse, you will lead the team and be ultimately responsible for care. You will lead the work in agreement with other professional groups in the team. Your other tasks include documentation, medication distribution, conversations with patients and relatives, and some telephone advice.

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop a psychiatric intensive care unit based on evidence-based care.

Your qualifications

You who apply are a licensed nurse. Specialist training in psychiatry is an advantage.

As a person, you are stable and secure in your professional role. You are responsible, can take your own initiatives while being a team player. In your interactions with patients, you maintain a professional approach and a holistic view of the individual. Great importance is placed on personal qualities. We hope that you have a genuine interest in the target group and that you want to develop in your professional role with us.

Employment form

Permanent employment. Working hours and degree of employment according to agreement.
