RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in a special accommodation for the elderly, no day is like the other. The pace varies, and the days are filled with enriching encounters with people. Here, you have great freedom to plan your own day.

You will have the opportunity to work with very experienced colleagues with broad expertise, and we place great importance on working without prestige and helping each other. We strive to periodically lift our gaze from our daily work and also think about what we want to achieve in the longer term.

Your work will largely consist of assessing the patient's health status and deciding on healthcare interventions, carrying out prescriptions, and following up on the measures taken. You will be responsible for the care of a number of patients residing in the municipality's special accommodations for the elderly. We have a close collaboration with relatives and staff to make a difference in the patient's daily life. You will conduct regular visits to your patients to create continuity in the meetings with patients and healthcare personnel. If necessary, you will collaborate with paramedics or consult the responsible physician. An important part of your work is also to support, guide, and delegate to nursing staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse
• has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

• previous work experience as a licensed nurse
• further education, for example in psychiatry
• experience working in municipal healthcare

As a person, you should be responsible, positive, and engaged, and you have a positive view of development work.
