The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool class to grade nine, adapted primary school, cultural school, and after-school care. The administration has 138 municipal primary schools where nearly 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who work together to develop and take care of the operations - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you a person who is attentive and flexible with a positive attitude? Then you might be our next educator! Hultskolan is now looking for a licensed teacher for after-school care, and we look forward to your application!
Hultskolan is a school with students from preschool class to grade 6. Currently, about 330 students attend the school, where we have two classes per grade. In 2017, we completed our sports hall and fantastic schoolyard with a zip line, obstacle course, and artificial grass field. Additionally, the school is close to the sea and nature, and it is easy to reach by both car and bus.
You will be part of the team responsible for the operations in after-school care F3. The work as a teacher in after-school care includes significant value-based work to develop children in social contexts. You will also work integrated into the school activities during school hours together with the class teachers in grade F3. This means co-planning, implementing, and evaluating school and after-school activities. We work in teams, and for us, job satisfaction and collaboration are essential guiding principles. Together, we want to create a holistic view of the student's development and learning.
QUALIFICATIONS
Formal Competencies:
We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher in after-school care. It is a merit if you also have experience in:
- working in after-school care
- working with organized outdoor activities/recess activities
- working with students with disabilities.
Additionally, knowledge of clear pedagogical methods and low-arousal responses is meritorious.
Personal Competencies:
You have an interest in creating a school where students feel safe and curious, to develop their abilities under good conditions together with us. As a person, you have an inclusive approach and meet each child based on their individual conditions and needs. We hope you are pedagogical and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement, and want to help develop our after-school care. You have the ability to create safety and trust both with children and their parents.
