We are looking for an engaged and analytical UX Researcher for an exciting consulting assignment with a leading company in the banking and insurance industry located in central Stockholm.

The assignment is full-time and runs from April 21, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with the possibility of 50% remote work.

About the role:

As a UX Researcher, you will be a key person in the development of digital services based on real customer needs. You will be responsible for driving and conducting research work in close collaboration with service designers, UX designers, development teams, and business developers. Your task is to transform qualitative and quantitative data into clear insights that strengthen both the user experience and the business. The role involves a great deal of personal responsibility, and you are expected to work independently, drive initiatives, and be a role model in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct user interviews, surveys, observations, and usability tests
• Conduct research to explore the commercial potential of services
• Test hypotheses and validate design and business ideas
• Analyze user data using both qualitative and quantitative methods
• Present insights and recommendations in a clear and actionable way
• Act as the voice of the user within teams and the organization
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers to translate insights into action

About you:

You are a curious, structured, and insight-driven person who is passionate about understanding people's needs and behaviors. You are comfortable working independently, take initiative, and have a business-oriented perspective on research. You thrive in cross-functional teams and are used to communicating insights in a way that creates engagement and understanding throughout the organization.

Experience and skills:

• 4–8 years of experience as a UX Researcher or in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative methods
• Experienced in conducting usability tests, surveys, and analyzing user data
• Ability to link user insights to business goals and strategic decisions
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
• Confident in presenting research and insights to different audiences
• Independent and accustomed to taking responsibility for the entire research process
• Experience in banking, insurance, or other regulated industries is a plus
