Student Assistant at Anna Lindh Library
The Swedish Defence University is an internationally renowned institution in defense, crisis management, and security. We offer a unique academic environment where civilian meets military. We educate civilian and military leaders, experts, and researchers who will analyze and manage today's and future crisis situations and security issues. The Swedish Defence University trains Sweden's officers and leads the academic development of the officer profession. We conduct research in law focusing on operational law and international law, defense systems, military science, leadership and management, military history, and political science.
The Anna Lindh Library is Sweden's leading scientific library for defense, foreign, and security policy. The library was established on August 1, 2005, through a merger of the previous libraries of the Swedish Defence University and the Swedish Institute of International Affairs. The library primarily supports the students, teachers, and researchers of the Swedish Defence University but is also open to the public. The future of the library presents exciting challenges in several areas such as research support, development of the physical study and research environment, and initiatives to make our collections and digital resources increasingly open and accessible.
The Anna Lindh Library operates from three service locations, with the main library at the Swedish Defence University, Drottning Kristinas väg 37 in Stockholm, a branch at the Military Academy Karlberg in Solna, and library operations at the Headquarters of the Armed Forces, Lidingövägen 24 in Stockholm.
The Anna Lindh Library is a department within the University Administration and consists of two sections: the section for Scientific Information Provision and the section for ICT Educational Support.
The position is located at the Anna Lindh Library.
